Gaynor & Marcus Murphy celebrated their wedding and asked us along to capture the fun and frolics of the evening.

Penrith Triathlon 2011 Photos

A rather cold, almost dry August bank holiday weekend in Penrith saw the 2011 Triathlon taking place. Fortunately the rain stayed away on Sunday until the very end of the days activities, despite threatening a few times earlier on.

Lakes Grass Track Racing Club Charity Trial July 2011

Today we were over at Clawthorpe, near Burton on Kendal in Cumbria with the Lakes Grass Track Racing Club Charity Trial in aid of Motor Nuerone Disease.

Organised by Stephen Bolton, who created a great days fun, a great selection of route for all abilities and the weather, despite a dull start, turned out brilliant and I’m confident everyone had a good ride.

Hay Trophies – Carlisle Golf Club Photos

On Sunday 10th July we were back at Carlisle Golf Club, this time on a glorious sunny July day for the annual Hay Trophies.

We’re confident that everyone had a fantastic days golf in much improved weather from the last time we were there and indeed the horrendous showers and thunder/lightning from the day before.

We were joined early on by Steve Angus from Athletes in Action, who very kindly agreed to pop over and cover the early shift as we were engaged elsewhere till the wee hours the night before. All of the photos are now available from here via our events gallery page.

Carlisle Golf Club – Captains Day 2011

Saturday saw us over at Carlisle Golf Club for their annual Captains Day in aid of some great charities. The local Stroke support charity and the Olivia Trust.

7 am saw the first tee off and after a dark, damp start the weather started to improve to a bright, slightly chilly for June, blustery day but at least the wind blew the rain away! Despite the poorer earlier conditions we persevered – fairly certain the camera has recovered too.

I’m sure everyone had a great day, not necessarily a great game listening to some of the comments but there’s always next year!

Cycling Weekly

Copy of the cover of Cycling Weekly from the 2nd June this year.

This edition has a feature on the Fred Whitton challenge, one of the most enduring cycling races in the UK which takes place around Cumbria and the Lake District.

Our photographs are used to illustrate the article including the cover.

Whittas Park, Bassenthwaite, Cumbria Twinshock Motocross Photos

Wednesday 22nd June saw us up at Whittas Park, near Bewaldeth, Bassenthwaite photographing the Cumbria Twinshock Motorcross.

A great evening, the weather held for the duration despite the poor forecast apart from a few spots of light rain. I sincerely hope the rider that was stretchered away towards the end of the evening wasn’t too badly hurt and is up and about.
